Me voy a poner culturoso.
Alguna vez recomendé una película.
Esta vez va a ser ballet.
Hace ya unos cuantos años, haciendo mi habitual zapping pasé por un canal -creo que Films & Arts– y vi que estaba por empezar una obra titulada «Still life at the penguin cafe».
Era un título que me llamó poderosamente la atención: «La vida continúa en el café pingüino».
¿Intuición?; ¿suerte?; ¿olfato?
No importa, dejé tranquilo el control remoto y me dediqué a ver de qué se trataba.
En un principio se ve una imagen de témpanos, el título y la voz de Jeremy Irons narrando que la historia comienza en los principios del S XIX.
Es un alegato en favor del cuidado del medio ambiente.
Comienza con un simpático pingüino bailando con una bandeja con copas.

No voy a adelantar nada más de la obra.
Solo indicar que el ballet es del The Royal Ballet.

Wow. I’m 73 yr old white dude. Stumbled across Penguin Cafe stuff a few days ago, watching PBS here in Sou Cali like at 2 or 3am
Program is called Spotlight on the Arts, or something like that.
London Ballet BBC originally taped 4 compositions of Cafe.
I’ve played guitar for most of my life…..seriously love music.
